Pin-Up Socialism

A tongue-in-cheek poster series that combines a western concept of ‘pin-up’ modelling with Yugoslavian modernist architecture, as well as political propaganda aesthetics, to create a juxtaposition of ideas and ideals. 

Inspired by a skyscraper in Novi Zagreb, a part of town that is practically a living museum of Yugoslav modernist architecture, the collages depict a humorous combination of a sultry model trying to 'sell' what is in reality quite an undesirable part of town to a lot of citizens of Zagreb.
