PhD Research

As a PhD candidate at Anhalt University's Design Department on the historical Bauhaus campus in Dessau, I am researching opportunities for opening up the field of complex data to the wider public. The research builds upon the established knowledge in communication, interaction and product design, as well as physical data visualisations.

My PhD project titled ‘Democratising Access to Complex Data through Design of Interactive Data Physicalizations’, continues to explore the design work and experiments that I have started developing as part of Glasgow School of Art's and Tokyo University of the Arts’ Master's programmes.
